Han Solo vs. Greedo's Mom in ... the Emperor's Court.
This is the article about concrete I was talking about at potluck last week.
Apparently, the average number of years married for white women has a 0.91 correlation coefficient with Bush's share of the 2004 vote at the state level. Adding white fertility rates to the regression increases the correlation to 0.94. Note: I find Sailer's musings on how marriage and fertility effect the Republican and Democratic world views interesting but not conclusive, and I certainly disagree with his belief that we should cut back immigration. I would also be interested if anyone found any flaws in his statistics, or found a better set of regression variables.
