Tomorrow we'll see how well Harold McGee's ice packs over the turkey breast technique works. Luckily, I'm only making a back-up turkey, so nobody goes hungry if I screw that up too.
I'd probably be a better cook if I did cooked more often than once a season. Shrug. Deep down I'm consoled by my firm belief that cooking is only a proper activity for primitive cultures that haven't yet discovered Tang.
